In order to be successful in weight loss and keep it off for life, you need the following 6 SSY Pillars to Weight Loss Success.

You Need Social Support!

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go farther faster, go together.” – Setema Gali. Your team will help you go farther than you can alone “Every Single Day” (ESD). 

You Need To Be Accountable!

“What is measured and reported improves exponentially” – Thomas S. Monson. SSY provides you with the best way to track your progress using its own results-based Tracker Sheet to track your progress. You are encouraged to share this tracker sheet with your coaches at least monthly (weekly is even better).

You Need To Prepare and Have a Plan!

“If You Fail To Plan, You Plan To Fail” – Benjamin Franklin. Prepare your meals the night before and be ready to take it with you wherever you go. This will help you stay focus and eliminate making bad choices. We share in the SSY recipes, actual pictures of food we eat so you have a clear idea of what is working for others and how you can do the same.

You Need To Have an Incentive!

This is critical, if you do not have this, you will not succeed. This is what we call in SSY “Your Holy Cause”. Its Your Why times 5.  Meaning you need to ask yourself why you want to lose the weight and become a healthier version of you.

Your first answer is not enough, you need to dig deeper by asking yourself why five times to get to the most powerful deepest life altering reason. Its a very powerful method we teach in SSY.

Find your true WHY for doing this.  This is will be your most powerful incentive to keep you on this journey for life. We also provide monthly awards to members who make the most improvements each month as an incentive but no amount of awards can compare to your Holy Cause.

So make sure you write this down and post it where you can see it Every Single Day (ESD).

You Need To Have a Deadline!

We teach in SSY that it is important to give yourself a time frame for achieving whatever weight loss goal you have.  This will help give yourself some sense of urgency in getting healthy. After all we are not going to live forever. The older you get the shorter your life becomes.

We teach in SSY the importance of understanding that this will take time. It has taken you years to get to where you are, so it will take some time to reverse the bad habits and lose the unwanted body fat. The more obese you are, the longer it’ll take.

We recommend you give yourself a minimum of 12 months to get to your normal healthy weight.  If you want to get six pack abs, then add another 6 to 12 months.  That’s only 2 years, its not a long time especially considering that you’ll be 2 years older than you are now so might as well get healthier along the way. 

So what is a healthy weight for you and how do you figure that out? Its quite simple really.  We teach at SSY a very simple way to determine this and its not even based on your weight or the scale. 

You Need To Have a Coach or Mentor!

Success comes from following someone who’s already been there and done it.  Our coaches were once obese but are now at a healthier weight and understand how it feels and what it takes to get to where you want to go.

Several have lost over 100 lbs and have kept it off. You will need a coach along this journey and our SSY program provides you a coach as well.  The coach will lead and guide you every step of the way.

Because your body and mind has been living this current lifestyle most of your life. Chances are you’ve been eating, living, breathing the way you have today for years and years. That could most likely be over 30 years or longer.

The way you eat, move, and process information is already automated inside your subconscious (unconscious) mind. It will take all that you have and more to try and reverse this.

All 6 Pillars to Weight Loss Success needs to be activated on a daily basis to get you to your weight loss target. Without them, it’ll be almost impossible to succeed.

You’ve probably noticed that every time you tried to lose the weight or get on a healthy lifestyle, you’d do real well for sometime but would fall off the wagon and stay off for a long time.
